Harrod U17 County Challenge 2014

This is the most prestigious event in the Badminton England U/17 calendar. A total of 36 British counties took part in the 4 day event which was held at Nottingham University from 14th-17th April.

Players can only play in 2 disciplines per match and every rubber and point won is crucial. The Tournament has a unique atmosphere with all the counties noisily urging their teams to win,  using their voices, drums, horns,and whistles.  The Norfolk team spirit was fantastic.  They all  encouraged each other to do their very best and we were delighted with their over all result of 22nd, improving on last year's result of 24th.

Many congratulations to all the players for their enthusiasm and commitment to the task in hand.We would also like to thank our team coaches Julie Pike & Katherine Cooper & team managers Maureen Lincoln & Andre Minnis who were with us for the duration of the tournament.
